One Parka Three Ways

Cold weather always poses a dilemma: to look cute, or to be warm? Loving fashion the way I do, often times I pick looking good over being warm. And this isn't anything new. I have vivid memories of being in fifth grade and stashing my bulky jacket in the bushes on my way to school because somehow in my head you could never look cool in outerwear. Imagine my delight that the hottest jacket this season is the parka. The best part is that you can wear this with dresses or jeans. For once I won't have to sacrifice fashion for warmth.

Parka for work

On a cold winter morning what's better than a fur-lined parka to make getting to work a little easier? Try this over a sleek pencil skirt as shown or ankle length pants with a great pair of heels (flats might be a but too casual).

Parka for Weekend

A parka lends itself to a casual look, but for the weekend add a little punch with a citron sweater and great ankle booties.

When you head out for a night on the town keep warm by throwing a parka over your favorite sweater dress.
