Joan Spoke To The Reality Of Being A Woman In The ’60s

It's kind of a shame that younger generations may only know Joan Rivers for her reality show with daughter Melissa, her red carpet coverage or her extensive plastic surgery (which she was honest about).  ┬áThe reason she is being mourned by so many people is because she spoke the the truth to power. Check out this clip from the Ed Sullivan show in 1967 where she takes apart the reality of being a single woman in the mid-20th century.
