Please Join Us For Breakfast And Conversation: Breaking The Technology Glass Ceiling

In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Silicon Valley and San Francisco lawyers of DLA Piper’s Leadership Alliance for Women (LAW) invite you to a breakfast featuring a panel of prominent women leaders in the technology industry.

The panelists will discuss their work toward changing the industry’s gender disparity — the under-representation of women in technology-related academia, entrepreneurship, venture capitalism and computer science.

We also encourage you to support one of two local nonprofit organizations by either:

  • Providing a monetary gift to the Children’s Creativity Museum, based in San  Francisco, which focuses on teaching children how to be creative with technology, including programs tailored to encourage girls to pursue science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) or
  • Bringing a STEM-focused toy or game to donate to Girls to Women, based in East  Palo Alto, which supports 45 under-resourced school-aged girls throughout the school year.

We will have representatives from both organizations present at the event.

We hope you can join us!
