Malala Back At School

Earlier this week, Malala Yousafzai returned school. It's been almost six months since the Pakistani teenager was shot in the head by Taliban gunmen because she dared to campaign for girls' education rights. Thanks to the expertise of British doctors who work with wounded veterans, Malala's injuries are barely noticeable and she is returning to school in Birmingham, England. In this video she can be heard telling her father, "Because of the prayers of the people, I can even walk. I can even run now."

As if all that wasn't enough for a fifteen year old, she also recently announced that she's launching the Malala Fund to help poor girls access education.
