Third Parties Are The Answer For A Few

You wouldn't know it from the media coverage of the election, but there are actually more than two political parties in the United States. Most of our democratic allies around the world have more than two major, viable political parties. In the United States our third parties have had a more difficult time getting traction.  ¬†Occasionally, a prominent third party candidate shows up and gets just enough votes to disrupt the election (e.g. Perot, Nader), but not nearly enough to win.

This year a few Americans are turning to third parties for solutions they are not finding with Democrats and Republicans. Here are the third parties with reasonably large memberships.
